Its so hot these days that I have been having a really hard getting dressed in the morning as I am sure a lot of people are! Here is what I wore a couple days ago.

I had to get a shot of me trying to kiss the moose. This is at my work and the moose is part of the decor, so many tourist that their picture with him and I figured I should show him some love!

Kitsilano Farmer's Market

Today I rode my bike to the Kitsilano Farmer's Market to do my shopping for the upcoming week. I love going to markets of any kind and this one is great. Tons of fresh produce, organic coffee to start you off, and much more to enjoy.

Some of the high lights of my adventure this morning were the bike valet, it is by donation and I love the fact that I am valeting my bike! There is also a by donation bike tune up station put on by the UBC Bike Co-op, I learned my bike needs some repairs so I will be taking her in for a real tune up next weekend.

I really enjoyed tasting all the different cheese at the Little Qualicum Cheeseworks booth. I grow up in Qualicum Beach and I love supporting local products. I bought a block of the Rathtrevor Cheese, named after the provincial park in Parksville.

I got some local honey, made from the pollen off blueberry flowers, it taste like summer! I also enjoyed some candied ginger and fruit jellies from Bad Girl Chocolates. Very tasty!

It was a great start to a wonderful Sunday, now I am off to the beach!!

Bootie Love

I fell in love with these Steve Madden booties when I saw them in the July issue of Marie Claire and I knew I had to have then for fall. I am still waiting for them to come into stores but image the possibilities! I will wear them with everything from fancy cocktail dresses, to skinny jeans and a leather jacket. Oh, I love summer but fashion in fall is the best!

Rain Wear

Here is a typical rainy day outfit for me. Usually consistent of these items, skinny jeans tucked into my favorite brown boots, with my vintage newsboy cap. From there I mix up the details but this outfit is comfortable and warm, perfect for a rainy Vancouver afternoon. What is your go to rainy day look?

Pin-Up Sweater

I was hunting for a good short sleeved sweater when I stumbled across this cream one at H&M. It was $40 dollars and I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for it. I really liked it but I was unsure. Then a couple weeks ago I was in there to meet a friend when I spot my little sweater with a $10 tag on it, and in my sized. I scooped it up and happily gave the cashier my $10 bucks! I think I'm in love!

"Easy Virtue"

I just got home from watching the movie "Easy Virtue". I wasn't expecting much from the movie seeing as I hadn't heard anything about it, but I really enjoyed it. It is set in the late 20's and the whole movie takes place on an estate in England. The best part, by far, was the amazing costumes. I want Jessica Biel's entire wardrobe for the fall. I fell in love with her high waisted wide leg trouser, and I am going to need a pair for fall. I would see this movie again just for the outfits!

And if I knew anyone who was getting married I would try to talk them into wearing a dress like one of theses. They are beautiful! I am going to be bringing this decade to life in the fall!

I think this outfit was my favorite of all. I am going to be hunting for these pieces all summer.

So far on my fall wish list: these pants, a great blouse, and some studded ankle boots.
