This weekend I am headed off on what I hope will be the first of many trips to my man's family cabin on Okanagan lake. I am very excited, to the point that I started packing tonight. Now most people who know me know that I am a notorious over packer. I am determined to pack light! I know this will be hard for me so here is a picture of what I think is all I will need!

Yesterday I finally got around to repairing the vintage dress I got about two months ago. Now I had been surfing fashion blogs all morning and I was totally inspired to whip up an awesome outfit. The one problem I sometimes have when getting dressed is that I work at a place that requires me to wear a uniform. So I walk to work, change into my uniform and spend my whole day in all black, therefore there are days where I think why bother for the 20 min walk to work. Yesterday was not one of those days.
When: Tuesday May 11, 2010
Where: Walking to work, drinks on the patio after work, and Trivia Night at Relish
What: Dress: True Value Vintage, $20 (Note: This dress had a hole where the zipper was coming unstitched from the dress. Ask for a discount if you can fix it. I got one and it never hurts to check)
Cumberband: Salvation Army in Parksville, $2
Shoes: H&M, $40
Cuff: Value Village, $2
I say inspired because once I got this outfit on I realized how Marc Jacobs Spring '09 it is! I love it! What do you think?
In fact I really enjoyed this outfit and have decided to try and wear a dress everyday for the rest of the week. Here goes!
