Pink Seam for Breast Cancer

As I get older I am getting bolder with my fashion choices. I am sure this has something do to with not caring as much what other people think about what I am wearing, and just wearing what I love.

I received these tights as part of a gift bag at a breast cancer fundraiser many years ago and have never know what to wear them with. Or had the guts to just go for it. Well after wearing the polka dot tights last week I decided to go for it. Plus the pink seam up the back is for breast cancer, with October being breast cancer awareness month I can't think of a better time to break them in.

Blouse: H&M, gift from NYC, from a friend
Skirt: Le Chateau $50
Tights: Wolford Free
Shoes: Aldo Outlet $20
Watch: Yardsale $1
Cuff: Value Village $2
Earring: Gift from my grandmother

I can't wait to get some more patterned tights! Somethings do get more fun with age!

MAC Make-up Madness

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was in Tofino for Thanksgiving and kind of enjoyed being cut off from the Internet. Now I'm back and in full force.

I got an email today about a special event for MAC at the Bay downtown. I am sharing it with all of you cause it looks like it is going to be a lot of fun. In fact they are calling it a party, you know that means music, and goodies! They are bringing in 35 MAC make-up artist from all across the country to launch their new Holiday Collection, and I hear they are taking over half of the main floor to make this happen!

Now that I am working at the Bay I get to hear extra little bits of info about these kind of events, I hear that the decorations for this party are CRAZY! MAC is going all out. Also those 35 national MAC make-up artist are giving make-overs to demo the new collection looks. If you ask me that is a great way to get your make-up done before heading out to dance the night away!! The make-overs are happening Oct. 22nd till Oct. 24th, so come by Pink Tartan and get an invite from me, I can set you up with a time to get that crazy awesome make-up done, and maybe you can tell me all about what you plan to wear while dancing the night away!!

See you at the extravaganza!!

Pink Tartan

I recently got a new job working at The Bay for Pink Tartan and have been training like crazy. I am very excited to be out on the floor on Tuesday. I was out on the floor on Friday for a Pink Tartan special event that was held in my area. It was very exciting. The designer/co-owner/president of Pink Tartan, Kimberley Newport-Mimran was in the store giving a mini fashion show, talking about the fall trends, and meeting customers. It was great to meet Kimberley, she seems like someone I could easily be friends with and that makes me job of selling her line easier. I can sell something I love and support. Here are some looks from the Fall 09 runway show. Come by, say hi and check out the rest of the collection on the 3rd floor at the The Bay Downtown.
