Really?
Maybe its just me and the fact that I was a teenager in the 90's but I do not want to see the crop top make a come back. I don't care how ripped your abs are it looks wrong. Unless you are at the beach and the shirt is all your are wearing, I feel that your shirt and pants should get introduce, and become friends. Am I the only one?
Waiting for Alex
Went to see Alice in Wonderland today with my friend, Alex and this is how I killed time waiting for him outside the Scotiabank Theatre on Burrard.
I thought the movie was a lot of fun but by far my favourite part was the costumes! Alice looks like she raided some very stylish closet. It made me think of Galliano or McQueen. What did you think?

Oscars
Normally on Oscars night I throw a party, make all of my friends get dressed up fancy and watch the Oscars together. So then today I could do a post about the glam outfits me and my gang wore and what we did. This year instead was a little more low key, and very, very enjoyable! I still did an Oscars pool, which I lost, or came in second since there was only two of us. I ate some amazing Mac and Cheese and drank pink champagne. So this year I am posting about some of the famous ladies outfits.
First up: Sarah Jessica Parker:
Now don't get me wrong I love Carrie Bradshaw, I love Chanel, and I love over the top but this is just BAD! It looks like a bag, no waist definition and what is with the weird neckline. I couldn't find a great picture of the back but head on over to Go Fug Yourself and they have pictures! It gathers under the bum, not good. I also have a sneaky suspicion that most people with love it based on it being worn by Carrie, oops, I mean Sarah Jessica Parker. No people she can not pull off everything just because she was Carrie. That is not possible!
Next up: Jennifer Lopez:
I know a lot of people were complaining about this dress being a little bit figure skater at the Oscars but I think that is just because of the fact that we are all still getting over the Olympics. I think it is perfect! She is about to win a little gold man and wants to be co-ordinated with his outfit, I get that. Plus she is long and lean so it doesn't over power her, which I feel a big ballgown would have! Now a note about the lipstick, I love it! It does go with the outfit and it makes sure she is not washed out, moving on people!
Finally my favourite dress of the night: Cameron Diaz
First up: Sarah Jessica Parker:

I like it, I don't love it but I like it. I think I like it for two reasons, I will never wear a dress this big in my life and second it looks like its made of bubble wrap. If anyone can pull this dress off its JLo and she did. Her big personally sells it for me. 'Nuff said.
Ok now for Sandra Bullock:

Simply put I love it! I want it! I have no where to wear it and I don't care! She looks great, the dress is great and her hair does not look like she surfed to the Oscars! Well done.
And I am off work. Hope you all enjoyed the fashion show we call the Oscars last night and see you soon!
Xoxo,
Girl
