Spring Fashion Preview at The Bay

Yesterday was one of those days! BUSY! I had two different events and work. It ended up being a three outfit day.

First up was work. It was raining when I left my house for the day but by the afternoon it was so sunny out. Oh spring, how you make getting dressed difficult with your weather changes.

Dress: Zara
Shoes:Aldo
Next it was off to the Spring Fashion Preview at The Bay. I was looking forward to it all day. Who doesn't love a glass of champagne with her fashion? I enjoyed all the looks the ladies had styled. Below are my favourites.

Check out all the amazing shoes!!
I wore my new dress I got at a sample sale for $40. So beautiful.
Jacket: Bluenotes
Dress: Sample
Booties: Winners
Necklace: Vintage
Watch: Rolex, gift from Mike
Ring: Le Chateau
Lipstick: MAC Girl about Town

After the Spring Preview I headed home for one last change. Mike and I went to see Justice last night at the PNE Forum with some of our friends. It was fantastic. So fun. We danced and danced. What a great way to end a wonderful day. Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of the whole outfit. My instagram photo is a best thing I have.

Jacket: Bluenotes
Tank: Le Chateau
Skirt: H&M
Booties: Zara
Purse: H&M
Justice doing there thing.

Work Outfits: Intern/Sample Sale

Tuesday and Wednesday used to be my days off but I am now spending them interning at Yates & Co at the Fashion Exchange building or the FX building for those in the know:) So Tuesday I rode my bike over to the FX building to help out in anyway I can. Here is what I wore:

Sweater: Zara
Shirt: Joe Fresh w/ a DIY twist
Jeans: Plenty
Booties: Zara
Necklace: Spring
Watch: Rolex, gift from Mike
Earrings: gift from aunt & uncle

I learned this DIY from I Spy DIY. I saw it in an issue of Instyle and had to try it. I love basics with a twist and who doesn't love a little surprise when you turn around! It was super easy to do and you should try it.

Then today I was helping out at the Warehouse sale that Yates & Co are having with the Dakota Group on West 7th. Please stop by if you haven't already. I was there all day and let me tell you there is a ton of great stuff. I think I might go back on Friday to pick up a red dress I had my eye on. Fingers crossed it is still there!! Here is what I wore:

Sweater: Zara
Tank: Dynimate
Leggings: American Apparel
Booties: Very Volatile
Earrings: Community Vintage
Bracelet: Thrifted
I wore the above outfit to work and when I got there I was asked to change into a Tana and Bee top which is the in house line that Tony of Yates & Co designs. It is a great way for the customer to see the line on people so all of us wore different tops. I love the one that I got to wear. I might grab it if no one else does.

Top: Tana and Bee
Rest: Same as above

Have a great day!

Hawaii

Mike and I got home from Hawaii this past weekend. We were gone for a week and I won't lie, I DID NOT want to come home. I wanted to stay and surf, hike, snorkel, sail, and eat my life away. Of course, like all vacations, I had to return to reality. We had an amazing time and I would return in a heartbeat. Here is a few of my favourite pictures from the trip.

Hope everyone had a great week last week and that you have a fabulous holiday planned for this year!
